What is Final Journey Doula Services?
 

End-of-Life Doulas typically provide a variety of options and resources to our clients that are based on the dying person's wishes.  We want that person to have a peaceful death, one that is free from worry, anxiety, and fears as much as possible.  We can help tie up loose ends regarding "unfinished business" with relationships, for example. We help with advocacy and support whenever we are invited in to take that role.

Final Journey Doula Services was founded in 2025 after Doula Cathay retired as a career librarian.  Cathay started this business and stepped into volunteering with hospice as a natural 'giving back' to the community, building upon her skills as a librarian through active listening, compassion, working with the community, and research/information seeking.

Cathay believes that every person is unique and deserves that acknowledgement, even when life is coming to a close. It is a sacred time.
