Transitions, Teachers, and Milestones

It's common to take baby steps toward our goals, and occasionally, we'll take a breath to fill up on courage and leap. This act of faith does not come lightly. It comes with wings.

Wings wrap around us and guide us with gentle nudges. If you're like me, you sense that we are not alone on our life's journey, but that we have Guides, perhaps Angels, and other spiritual support. Perhaps even an ancestor is helping us. As with people in our circles of life, so too are those who have an interest in our well-being. We are all connected through love and the journeys that we have embarked upon.
Our intuition can grow stronger as we tap into this.
My professional transition is tied to my personal journey. I have immersed myself in helping clients who are actively dying as well as those who are beginning to explore their mortality. Some have pain, others have considerations to think about. All have questions, and my passion is to listen, talk, and learn with each person.
One way I learn is by taking classes that help me improve my skills as an End-of-Life Doula. This week, I just completed my Reiki Master Level class and have been processing what that means. It's a wonderful experience. It feels great to see that certificate and apply my new level of training to my clients.

Through all of my transitions and milestones, I have met many teachers. Each client has taught me more about relationships, loss, courage, and spirituality. Formal teachers, like my Master Teacher Carolyn, have taught me to believe in myself. We all live with the opportunity to explore and learn, to find out what we want in life, and to build foundations of trust in ourselves and our life's journey with everyone around us. Even if they are not in the physical realm!
